for an oil-free vehicle fleet. An Executive Order signed by Mayor Greg
Ballard yesterday mandates that Indianapolis replace its current fleet
of city-owned sedans with electric and other non-oil burning vehicles by
2025. Mayor Ballard hopes that introducing electric and other
alternative fuel powered vehicles will reduce and eventually eliminate
our dependence on foreign oil, thus saving lives and strengthening our
foreign policy leverage.

The Lawrence Central High School Track Team headed to Nationals, and Tom Wood Automotive
helped them get there! After dominating at the 109th Annual IHSAA Track
& Field State Finals held June 1st and 2nd at Indiana University in
Bloomington, the Lawrence Central Men's and Women's teams won the
Indiana State Championship and earned their way to the New Balance Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina in vehicles donated for the occasion by Tom Wood Automotive.The athletes rode in style in a fleet of comfortable, fully equipped, and fuel-conscious Tom Wood vehicles.
