The Incredible Ford Mustang Mach-E: Horsepower, 0-60, Torque, and More
When it comes to all-electric performance, the Mustang Mach-E 0-60 mph time is a noteworthy metric that raises the bar for all Ford models. Rocketing into speed in an incredible 3.3 seconds, the all-electric version of this world-famous muscle car puts it all on the road, using eAWD technology to stay sturdy and consistent across every mile. But which configurations should you keep your eye on? And how different is the Mustang Mach-E 0-60 mph time compared to last year?
We at Tom Wood Automotive Group are just as excited to see the Mustang Mach-E rev down the road as you are. Let's explore your options so you understand the possibilities.

What Is the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT 0-60?
The 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E 0-60 mph time is best shown through its highest-performance model. The Mach-E GT, the penultimate trim, can reach a 3.3-second zero to 60 time when equipped with the Performance Upgrade package. This optional level puts its specs on par with the Mach-E Rally, the most track-inspired of all four Mach-E trim levels. The GT also boasts standard eAWD, ensuring that you are fully in control around tight corners or across difficult terrain. Of the new Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles, the GT with the Performance Upgrade package is the quickest, and the Rally is right behind.
Unfortunately, the Ford Mustang Mach-E top speed is where things slow down. The model is electronically governed to 130 mph on the high end, limiting your ability to cruise on sanctioned tracks. That's not to say 130 mph isn't thrilling in its own right: you just won't be setting records like its gas sibling.

What Drives the Mustang Mach-E Horsepower?
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is powered by a series of battery-and-motor setups. The Standard Range battery, available for the Select and Premium, is a 73kWh eMotor configuration mounted on the rear of your EV.
The standard-range battery is less powerful, unable to put out quite the same amount of power to the motors: it can output 264 horsepower, or 325 horsepower with eAWD. Torque isn't as heavily affected, though, as you can achieve 387 pound-feet of torque on the RWD and 500 pound-feet of torque with RWD.
The more important engine is the Extended Range battery. Available for the Select and Premium and standard for the GT and Rally, this powertrain features an 88kWh battery that can be paired with RWD for the Mach-E Premium and is otherwise eAWD exclusive.
Generally, the Extended Range battery provides a helpful boost to your horsepower: eAWD achieves 370 horsepower, while RWD owners get a huge boost to 372 horsepower. However, when equipped on the Mach-E GT eAWD or the Mach-E Rally, you can rev to full speed with a 480-horsepower high. Torque is actually the same as standard, at 387 pound-feet for RWD and 500 pound-feet for AWD. GT and Rally owners can relish 600 and 700 pound-feet of torque, respectively (GT drivers can purchase the Performance Upgrade package to match the Rally at 700 pound-feet of torque).

2025 vs. 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E 0-60 Times
The last aspect we'll consider is how the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E 0-60 mph time, range, and horsepower compare to one another. And, to be frank, both models share many aspects: you'll see familiar horsepower and torque metrics across each lineup. The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT 0-60 mph time is the same as in 2026, and the Rally remains as a potent number two.
However, there are a very small number of differences. For instance, in 2025, the Rally actually achieved a slightly better EPA-estimated range than 2026. The 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E also had slightly different 0-60 mph time estimations, as tested by MotorTrend. To see how different each model is from the others, check out the chart below.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Mach-E has 480 horsepower?
Several Mach-E trims can reach 480 horsepower. The two able to do so – the Mustang Mach-E GT and Rally – are eAWD vehicles with exquisite sport style. These models are extraordinary workhorses, able to access 480 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque (the GT requires a performance upgrade to do so). To test drive any of them, please contact our team.
Is the Mustang Mach-E faster than the Mustang GT?
Depending on the trim level, the Mustang Mach-E can equalize or exceed the performance of its gas-only sibling. The Mustang GT is estimated to reach 60 mph in as few as 3.9 seconds.1 The Mustang Mach-E GT is more than a match, as it can reach 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds when equipped with the performance package.
How fast is the Mustang Mach-E zero to 60?
According to MotorTrend, as well as 2025 information, the Mustang Mach-E can accelerate to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. To do so, you need the Mustang Mach-E GT with the Performance Upgrade package or the Rally eAWD, both of which can reach a similar level of horsepower and torque. All Mustang Mach-E models can reach 60 mph in well under 6 seconds.
