The little overachiever 2024 Impreza RS
By Steven | on Saturday, November 30, 2024
Quite a nimble little car with plenty of smooth power a quiet cabin and room inside, sporty handling with plenty of room in the back with the seats down, sits low getting in and out takes time to get use to but all in all this is a well built solid car that’s fun to drive, i have owned lots of cars in my lifetime and this one ranks rite at the top with the best of them I highly recommend this car it will put a smile on your face and you will love it just as I do… - 5.0
Only awd in this price range

I went with the base model. This car surprised me with its price point but it didn't skip out on the features the subaru eyesight technology came standard allowing me to use my cruise controll without constantly adjusting it for the driver in front of me and it can also steer itself to a certain degree. My commute is mostly highway and I average 32.7 mpg although I accelerate slowly and drive to intentionally increase my fuel economy. I find the interior surprisingly quite coming from a full sized sedan. Not like dead quiet but there's hardly any engine noise if any at all when maintaining speed some wind noise and road noise. Seats are comfortable you can get heated if that's your thing but I pinched a penny there instead. It's been a really good commuter car for me and the fuel tank is surprisingly large too for its size. Super practical and affordable. If you're in a snowy area and looking for a good economy car test drive one of these for sure!… - 5.0
Mature vehicle owner. This RS is car #45 for me.

I bought mine right before the tariffs, so for just under $30k it is (overall) one of the most satisfying 'driver' cars that I have owned. Suspension is great, and those low profile tires stick like glue on the corners. Only my (former) 1982 Porsche 911 would beat it in 'raw fun' and my 2012 Mercedes C300 would beat it in overall comfort and style. The biggest issue is that it really should have over 200hp, but then the hiway mpg would suffer some. It also should have electric drivers seat, but i wouldn't want to pay for that anyways. It can haul a lot of different stuff easily from the home improvement store, and plenty of stuff for those multi-day trips. It is a tad noisy, but thats the price of a sub-$30k car that loves corners.…
